CT Rain
Even if that's the case that means 50's and 20's/ 30's at night which is what we want in Oct Yeah U 50s by day and U 30s by night. Big deal.
CT Rain
Weenies are too worried about surface temps and not the actual global pattern. Always happens. I don't know why anyone cares in October anyway. I'm down for a big cutter or storm but who the heck cares if it's +3 or -3 on a week this time of year. Most people would prefer the over when the odds of measurable snow outside of the high terrain in NNE are infinitesimal.

I'm looking forward to the warmer wx this week to help grow grass.

CT Rain
Especially when MVY beats you by 4 weeks. You've gotta feel bad for someone who statistically is unlikely to see a 20"+ snowstorm for another 25 years.

moneypitmike
Yeah...who wants to waste their energy bill this time of year? I had it on the other day for the 32F morning, but I'm enjoying leaving it off. I've got the stove lit for the 3rd or 4th time this season. At least it's intermittent so far. Pretty soon it (and the second stove) will likely be going 24/7 until April. At the very least, you need to engage in more masturbation. LMAO I'm in a little bubble of mild nights too, but I expect that on a hill near the ocean. Scott--what town are your in again? Baroclinic Zone
Kind of raw out in the bogs today. Winds were brisk. 10-15mph I'd guess, with temps around 60F. Great festival to attend.
CoastalWx
What happened? Like I said the other day, it wasn't a cold pattern for us. Cold is west in the Plains. We'll still get shots of it with our cutters.

CoastalWx
With a -Nao I have a hard time buying full fledged cutters with no secondaries. What -NAO? We also have a SE ridge. Like I said...the pattern itself would be epic 2 months from now and beyond. That's what matters...not silly IMBY srfc temps. IMHO the 11-15 day will be near avg. CoastalWx
Will they be wound up cutters over the Lakes then with strong soueasters here? Can't really worry about those details. Just looks like a more active yo-yo pattern coming up. The overall pattern does support some action and if timed right..potential first flakes for some....especially in the tyical favored areas.
