Gibbs says raw and wet Thurs- Sat

Well most of Thursday is good by you I think. Friday sucks, Saturday up for grabs...but probably cloudy and cool. I could see a few shwrs at least on Saturday. The high to the north will also be feeding in drier air so that will help battle the precip Saturday I think. Not sold on a Sat washout.

48 and light rain/drizzle Thursday-Sunday FTL...hideous..look away type wx

C'mon now.  48 for a high in mid October is well below normal. I'd prefer to call it a sign of things to come. Below normal with precipitation. That's what the Rev should be hyping. Even if we end up with highs in the mid 60's, that's about average, and showing a good trend.

37° attm here.  First morning in the 30s for me this October.  :arrowhead:

I really think that BOX struggles with forecasting lows in my zone and I'm not sure why.  They forecasted low 40s last night and despite already having temps in the low 40s around 0100 they changed it to "Near steady temps in the mid 40s".  Some of the hill tops are in the mid-40s but there's lots of upper 30s out there so original call would ave been closer to reality.  I really don't know why they struggle with that.

BTW, I know the forecasts are not for every specific location and are for the general area, but that's what I'm talking about.

Euro has 2+ inches of rain from my area south-sharp cutoff to my north.

Yeah it has quite the meridional gradient. My area has been in the same QPF spread for a few runs now. I won't be getting more than .25" by Sunday afternoon, and that's even on the high side IMO. Any rain this late in the season is nothing but a nuisance.

2004 analog? RT @BigJoeBastardi Gasp..Just looked at Brazilian meteograms. Oct 9 runs have snow in both Chicago and NYC in mid November

Brazilian. Meteograms.

We don't hear of those for a reason. Not ruling out snow by mid November, but I take that as a grain of salt at this point.
