CoastalWx
not exactly in Lala land. Any other model support? GFS looked like a complete whiff It wouldn't be the first incorrect 100hr euro run that's for sure. But, while I think it stays south...it's certainly far enough out to watch. Might brush the south coast perhaps.

CoastalWx
I think I've seen enough evidence of a change coming near and after the 20th. Not necessarily winter chill....but cooler wx is coming.

CoastalWx
So like Western Ridge, eastern trough pattern? More like a ridge into AK and weak -NAO signal. I wouldn't expect winter chill just near normal to slightly below perhaps in the 11-15 day. Might be more robust after that.

First raking done, mostly maples and Sassafras, some trees stripped bare today.

For whatever reason, it wasn't loading or would actually bring me to the subforum, but I could not click on a thread and/or post.

CoastalWx
Home now and the site is working well for now using iPad with iOS7. How were the weeklies? Not bad at all. Sort of continued what the ensembles showed on week 3. Week 4 had a similar pattern. Coldest anomalies seem to be out in the Plains into the Lakes, but it's a good pattern to see imho. Verbatim near normal...maybe a hair below.

CoastalWx
Based on everything we're seeing winter sets in for November this year Not so sure, but I think the Plains and lakes will at least chill off relative to normal. We may be riding the gradient...but who really knows.

It's Always Sunny
December. But November will be chilly to get us in the mood. But I doubt it is wintry at least prior to 11/25. I agree, mainly based off what I have been seeing in the ensembles/weeklies, but it can only take one deep trough to usher in cold enough air to give us some flakes.
