Nittany88
Cheesy midnight high Even more impressive IMO this time of the year to be in the 60's at night, when your normal low is 40-50.

weathafella
Kind if a dank cool day accented by the fact that my cleaning lady mixed up my shoes and I was wearing a mismatch which felt weird with one not so water resistant. All I ask for is an IQ of 85. Couldn't get it.....

powderfreak
its cold in my house, not sure about what climo says but no torch today You said it was +5 today and yet cold in your house...that shows you just how warm it's been, lol. When you have a cold day and still put up a +5... These are like the days in July when Blizz was claiming it's the torch of our lives yet the daytime high was only 70-75 with rainfall, but overnight mins kept temps above normal. Yep, the warmest July of our lives was largely due to low temps being so warm. Average at BDL right now is 66/44... so a low of 56 is 12 degrees above normal. You can tell the pattern has changed a little in that the trough following the cold front isn't all that cold relative to normal. Since like August we've been getting some decent cold shots behind these fronts, but now this week it only cools down to near normal, before possibly ticking up again. We'll have to see if this over-performs, but the previous cold shots in recent weeks have brought frost/freeze to lower elevations, with snow/rime ice to the summits. This trough doesn't look to have really any of that...sort of like a step back from the persistence in September.
