HIPPYVALLEY
If I continue to live in Portland, I'll be 400 pounds by the time I retire. Do you ever go to the Novare Res Bier Cafe? Killer selection of taps.
OceanStWx
Walter's restaurant was pretty good in PWM. Their crispy Asian chicken ravioli is an awesome appetizer. I go out for dinner at least once a week in Portland, mostly because I'm a fairly terrible cook and have to contribute something for the girlfriend. CoastalWx
No offense to HM, but I find it silly he won't even post here because of a few weenies. I respect the guy and he knows his stuff, but really? Who the fook cares what a couple of weenies think?

HoarfrostHubb
Probably a bit warmer than in the stadium itself. Today was a little muggy for early October I would probably have a sweatshirt and shorts.

HIPPYVALLEY
60/58 warm for an October evening. Oak trees looked reinvigorated from yesterdays rain. Most are still all green while all the Maples, Birches, Ash, Hickory etc are coloring out nicely. Bright but odd foliage year out here. Everything was starting to rage last week and then really slowed down with the warm weather. Almost like there has been little change since monday. CoastalWx
Anyone else noticing the pines are all turning half brown/orange and not just the roadside ones too? It didn't look too out of the ordinary to me. I know they normally shed to prepare for snow, but did it look abnormal? Maybe I'll pay more attention when it's light. OceanStWx
Nice. And they have no money to pay to have it cleared out Unless the contract was already funded (which I doubt it was). But you know they like to weenie out shoveling in the middle of a blizzard just like all of us here.
weathafella
The way life should be. In some cases the restaurants here are better than home lol. You should check out North Conway Country Club. Hell of a view for Golf and a 19th hole. Wolfboro and nearby towns have the best restaurants. However go to the better hiking areas and it's slim pickings such as Wakefield up through Ossipee. I forgot to clear out my collection bucket. I think it might have a leaf in it, so my qpf is questionable. But, it's reading .25" on the day, .31" on the event. 55.9/

Even here in the NW part of the lake, so good ones have sprouted up over the last 10 yrs.
