What would you call for in the afternoon into evening tomorrow?

With some luck things break but right now I'm thinking clouds and some scattered showers through the day. Maybe some drizzle too.

The high moving east across Ontario/Quebec forces winds out of the east while at the same time the southwesterly flow continues from 850mb on up. We lock in the inversion and get a pretty solid warm advection pattern.

Kids had a game today in Vernon. Blazing hot in the sun. Parents all commenting how hot it felt..Back sweats galore

In some cases the restaurants here are better than home lol. You should check out North Conway Country Club. Hell of a view for

Golf and a 19th hole.

I really do need to play a few courses in that area. I don't know whether I want to start my New England 4Ks or my list of NNE golf courses first. Clearly I need to lock down a permanent position at GYX.

I always laugh when someone says the don't want to live up here because they need restaurants, culture, etc.

90% of the restaurants here are run by chefs from NYC or Boston, and tourist towns likely have a heck of a lot more quality places to eat out (everything from gourmet Chinese food and sushi to fine dining with farm to table fare) per capita than cities. Also tons of art galleries, performing arts centers to see James Taylor or other classy acts, etc.

If I continue to live in Portland, I'll be 400 pounds by the time I retire.

If I worked at BTV, I might just get Esperanto's every night for their doughboys. Unreal...
