I am really interested in having solar panels installed when I get a house...how many do you need to make it effective versus the initial up front cost is my main question. I vaguely remember Howard mentioning a correlation he had found between warm early Octobers and colder winter temps. Although I'll gladly take this early fall warmth, this has been one of the biggest stretches of boring weather that I can remember.
