Has the Euro been consistent with this, because the NAM and GFS sure haven't been

It's been consistent in giving the area decent rain. The NAM is typically dumbfounded by these types of setups. Or any sort of coastal low.

you know how many 156 hr GFS maps I kept that showed us getting a ton of snow and we got nothing?  lol

Haha. I have so many random weather images on my computer. God, I can't wait till the first snow storm. This time of year is always exciting. Synoptic storms are so much more fun.

you're in suuuch a better spot than most of us; I envy

Don't envy my location. I hate it here. I sometimes get more snow but, severe weather I get nada. 1 hail storm here in 8 years and 0 winds higher than 50 in a thunderstorm.

In your location you are better for severe, tropical and bigger snow amounts from 09-10 type coastals.

meh, I hate severe wx; don't want it and don't need it

yeah, you miss out on an occasional coastal, but your average snow is far better and much more consistent...plus, it's pretty out your way with the hills, etc.
