TWCCraig
I think the the south shore is in a deeper drought than the drought monitor depicts. I'd say we're in at least in D2 on the south shore. The drought monitor probably doesn't account for such a small area but the south shore has had the worst of it in the entire area. Haven't had a 0.10"+ rain event in about a month. At least I was able to pick up 0.02" early this morning.

Allsnow
at least it is moisture. Places nw of the city with elevation could probably see some snow with the costal on the 12z euro. Does anyone have the record lows for the end of next week?
Allsnow
some early lake effect also, looks impressive on the euro
IsentropicLift
The 12z Euro brings less than 0.50" of QPF to most areas with the coastal. It's a very fast mover.

It's normally a good sign if we get coastals in the later fall for winter.

bluewave
That is a very impressive STJ streak coming up the coast with the low this week. If the trough can go negative tilt a bit earlier, we will have an even stronger storm potential.
