The Chicago to Racine corridor is just getting soaked today!

After some areas received over an inch from the first storm (Brookfield, who received about an inch and a quarter in 30 minutes is an example), Milwaukee County is back in the downpours.  Already found some street flooding in Downtown Milwaukee from the first storm.

1.50" on the dot here. Plus the 0.25" yesterday. About at the average yearly precipitation total now - still 2 3/4 months to go!

The ground wasn't able to absorb all that rain - there's pools and stream running through the yards.

...actually getting another light t-shower right now.

Edit: 1.52" through 7pm.

Dew point has dropped 10F so far this afternoon/evening...  we ended up wtih 2.5 inches of rain...a very good soaker and very needed...been dry all day, actually had a few pokes of sunshine, with mostly thick cloudy skies...was really humid earlier ..

Nice to hear!  I'm sure there are no complaints from you about next week's weather either, looks like comfortable temps all week, and sun after Monday.

We had more rain last night then the whole month of Sept...that helped.  I've been digging holes for fence posts and before this rain...you'd get down about 18 inches or so and hit almost concrete like soil...i was having to fill the holes with water to soften up the soil (which here is more or less sand)...  pretty crazy how dry the subsoil got...  i dug a couple holes today that were fine, so all that rain really soaked into the soil.

Oktoberfest still going ont his weekend...  drunks flipped 3 cars over last weekend (its an annual thing it would seem)...  probably be a lot more quiet this weekend.

We received 3" of rain on Friday evening on into Midnight and another 2" yesterday morning. Lots of standing water around here, reffing football games has been brutal as of late

Funny how the rain was so hit and miss over the last few days. As of this am only a tenth or so of precip. since Thursday.

68 and 66 dews out there this afternoon, grey skies and hint of rain.... Good news is the 14 day old grass seed is sprouting ....

Its under-performed over most of SE Michigan too.... I'm at 0.83 total since Thursday.

Models and HPC had me around 2 inches today alone, I don't see much more than a tenth of an inch at best.

Do you have sun?  We are on our 2nd or 3rd hour of sun since Thursday atm.

Sun broke out at about 9:45am.

Lot of leaves falling down today. Going to have to clean the gutters before the next rainstorm for sure.
