vespasian70
I hate to be THAT guy, but I'm not impressed. We have about two more hours with the current slug of moisture, meanwhile the echoes in IL look to go south of us. Terrible. Score one for Angry? JayPSU
Score one for Angry? Lol...no, Angry had this going way north with rain here. As usual the total opposite of what he said has happened.

fogbreath
It's been very sleety snow steady here since the morning in Granville/Newark (we're here on babysitting duty) but finally got a little more intensity and bigger flakes coming down the last 20 min or so Travel should be interesting getting back into Cbus, but even more interesting for my in-laws - they're going to try to get back from the Cincy area. JayPSU
Looks like we're nearing 2" here in Westerville. So while it hasn't been very heavy it has been accumulating on average about 1/2" per hour. If we can do that all day we'll be on target for ILN's 5-7" near Columbus.
dilly84
2" here with a lull. Better start filling in or this thing is done haha.

Steve
As Porky Pig would say...That's all Folks!!!! If this 2 inches is all we get....this would be the biggest bust in a long time..i mean really..you go from a possible 12 or more to this..i hope i am wrong!! HighTechEE
12Z GFS & NAM both shove the 2nd wave well south of the river over night, so nothing more for us. Got about an 1/8th in of ice, a little sleet then just under 2" of snow. This is the fourth time this winter models showed 8-10" potential 24hs out then busted big time IMBY in SW Greene Co! Cincy12
All you north guy should be thankful you got to see some snow. Sounds like we will be lucky to get an inch or two here in Cincinnati..

dayton1996
The radar returns look interesting. Out in the Central Plains, there appears to be a northern as well as a southern stream of precip - with a dry slot in between. Any guidance on that as it slowly moves east? Will it fill in or diverge? Looks goofy to me
dilly84
Looks like everything depends on the third wave.. it's gonna have to really hammer down to not be a complete bust.
Jrad08
I'm worried we may fall in the dry slot... Which to some of the models credit, they were depicting
Steve
This may really suck..seems like most precip may go just to our south...may be a historic BUST!!!!
dilly84
This may really suck..seems like most precip may go just to our south...may be a historic BUST!!!! Couple things to keep in mind. Based on current radar sweeps it seems as though the precip will cut off just north of i70. So we SHOULD get more snow. Current temps will also make for good ratios. We are basically just stuck hoping the storm stays on its current trajectory and we should get a few more inches of snow. BIG IF.
snowlover2
I'm on the se side of Dayton about 10 miles south of I-70. Like where i sit looking at the radar.
Jrad08
Anything under 4 is a total bust... I'm punting in the middle of the game and hoping it turns 80 degrees tomorrow. How frustrating
