  :lmao:

Yes, I busted. The insane snow rates with the WAA snows have helped...you'll still probably go over to sleet around 1 or 2AM like I figured, but I also figured snow rates would be closer to 1/2 to maybe 1" per hour, not 1-3" per hour. Enjoy my bust! ;)

My freezing rain will be plain rain within an hour here.

coming down as hard as it has been all night.  It could all changeover right now to rain and I'd still call this victory.   We b*tch slapped back the wtod....

This has just been amazing. I can't remember seeing insane snowfall rates like this for such a sustained period in a long time.

I'm allowed to b**ch and whine about my own backyard...  that's a sacred right for all of us weenies.

Was talking about my call.

I'll always b**ch with the best of them as far as my backyard goes. This i do agree with.

You forget i lived it a few winters down there and thus know all to well about that damn wtod. Fook that warm tongue. Stay on the other side of the apps.

You guys are riding razors edge, but certainly won this time. PHD is over to sleet, ZZV is sleet, LHQ is freezing rain, and LCK is reporting snow still but the visibility is way up...heck even Wheeling is about to change over...so it's mixing where I thought it would but d*mn, those were some impressive snow rates you guys saw.

Hmm. I'm between zzv and phd and I'm still mostly snow.

That's weird. PHD is reporting "unknown" and ZZV is over to freezing rain now. We'll see how long you can hang on to snow there. A spotter in Cambridge reported 6.5" of snow but the LSR also reported they are going over to freezing rain.

I think it's more ip. Literally. Not really sleet and not really snow but not rain either. Literally some ice mixing in but it's been that way all night.

Don't know about everyone else in the area, but I'm still mostly snow, and from the 1AM obs, so is everyone else in Franklin County.  The airport is still reporting 1/2 mile visibility.  They had another 0.17" 12am-1am, putting the liquid total at 0.85".  Straight 10-1 like they've been getting puts the storm total near or over 8".
