dayton1996
Don't ask, vespian! Lets put it this way. This poster - ME - is done with NOAA, and I don't want to hear **** from ILN for a quite a while. The posters here, especially the Mets, are much better. dilly84
The longer this virga holds on the less snowfall amounts we see.. This is quite ridiculous. Almost 4 hrs of virga here so far
jbcmh81
Based on ground reports, the snow line is now moving into Franklin County.

Just reading the thread, if I had been here with you guys I'd be in a drunken stupor by now. Can't believe the 360 the models have done in 24 hrs. And yea, I trust many of these guys more than I do most mets with forecasting.

HighTechEE
Ok only a half hour in now and absolutely dumping it now, looks like someone shaking a tide box!!! Has to be heavy level now, can only see half way to the high school from my house which is only about a quarter mile. Once it starts for you guys east of here won't take long to kick in! dilly84
the trend south on that is impressive....even if it biases too cold It's like 150 miles south of the 21z. The issue I see is it isn't shifting the totals at all near us in which you'd think it's all shift so my best guess is its figuring on a defo band setting up there and hammering. Anything reach you yet?
dilly84
This is what worries me a bit. You're under moderate and aren't seeing anything yet.. dry over me but looks like radar may be down

OHweather
We actually started as snow here. We're running colder than progged here (30/22 right now) and will keep NE winds most of the night. The RAP keeps Athens at 29-30 while about an inch of liquid falls. There's still 1-2" of snow on most tree branches from Sunday night. I'm somewhat worried here. Hmm

HighTechEE
8pm report IMBY in SW Greene Co, about 1/3" so far, but really getting heavy now. Temps fell from 29 at 7pm to 24 now. What is weird is I can hear the snow hitting my windows when the NE wind is just right. Scares me thinking sleet, but I checked and it's all snow, just very dense flakes coming down!
