Yes.  They make no mention of latest model runs and basically state that areas north of 71 could get 10", but Dayton through Columbus "a few inches" due to a lot of mix.  The actual zone is still 3-5".

thank god for I-71, whatever would they do without that boundary....might have to commit to something more specific.  So I guess technically I'm in for  10"?

Kind of contradict themselves because Dayton is NW of I-71 and they say 10" north but then say a few inches here. Local met showing the mix line riding along I-71 with mostly snow here. If that happens, 10" could happen.

I can be on the 'good side' of I-71 in 2 minutes.... Maybe tomorrow I'll swing over and check out all that snow

A progression of the storm so far... more or less, by the hour, 7AM-5PM.

Just some takeaways from this...

-The surface freezing line hit a brick wall around 1pm along the Ohio River and never moved further north, and started to sink back south a bit in the last few hours.

-The low seems in no hurry to get organized and short north, or at least hasn't so far.  As of 6pm, it was near or just north of the LA/MS border directly north of New Orleans.

Both would seem to bode well for us, but who knows.

Started snowing moderately here as soon as the band on radar slid in:

KCLE 042338Z 03014KT 3/4SM -SN VV009 M04/M07 A3026 RMK AO2 SNB05 P0002 T10441072

Has potential to be the first 10"+ storm in quite some time here.
