icebreaker5221
Amazing! What elevation is that? It seems fairly high up. I'm guessing that view will become very snow-filled in a couple of months?

I'm guessing that view will become very snow-filled in a couple of months? About 2,000 mt / 6,500 ft There was already some snow 1 week ago, anyway "stable" snow is usually from mid-late october

Matthew-Northern Italy
Matthew...is that a German speaking area of Italy? I see that the webcam titles are all in German. Some yes, other ones are from Austria or Germany (Bavaria). If you see the one of Bolzano/Bozen, btw, it has both the german and italian name (Gantkofel / Monte Macaion). Even down here, in the southernmost part of the region, we have various things wrote in italian/german (Police/Polizei, things in the Mall/market etc) Example http://digilander.iol.it/gardapictures/nevedic09/neve42.jpg If you see, under the logo there's "Benvenuti all'Eurospar" (Welcome to Eurospar) but also "Willkommen im Eurospar"; out of the photo there's also the opening hours in both italian and german. Until WWI here we were part of Tyrol/Habsburg Empire. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2d/1799_Cary_Map_of_Mantua%2C_Venice_and_Tyrol%2C_Italy_-_Geographicus_-_Venice-cary-1799.jpg http://www.atlassen.info/atlassen/flemming/sohha04/picslarge/sohha1847k014.jpg
U_Thant
If there was a sabermetric-type stat called QPUP (quality per unit post) on AmWx, Matteo would be at the top of the all-time list.

Matthew-Northern Italy
Really a mild and boring autumn till now Luckly the situation is going to change: today we expect a light front with snow till 1500-1700 mt; then we'll have a pause of very mild and stable weather till the week-end, while after the 10th-11th, the pattern should change more drastically with cooler temperatures and snow on more seasonanbly altitudes.
