phlwx
The strongest winds with low-topped lines usually occur out ahead of the rain shield. It isn't completely uncommon though to get winds behind the front which are stronger with CAA though than with the line itself. Velocity data shows some fairly strong winds just above the surface out this way so if we can maintain or develop any stronger convective elements some gust to near 50-55 mph could be possible. What were the strongest gusts last night ahead of that line of bangers and mash?

RIcoastalWX
There is some elevated instability over the south coast near dawn tomorrow. I could see one of those deals where LI through coastal CT/RI and SE MA get some thunder. Nice call... Loud thunderstorm here in Westerly at 4:35am.. and another a bit later... I didn't roll over to check the time on the second one though.

CoastalWx
So BOS got 1/3 inch of rain and bangless bangers. BFD. I think they were in a screw zone. Even you got more. I had about 0.6-0.7 or so with just over an inch to my west. That was a nice gusty downpour that came through. Yes, that's how boring it's been.
