Ian
Pretty green here. Except where it's brown.
Bob Chill
There we plenty of dead leaves on my lawn when i mowed this weekend. Fall is coming early and so is snow. Or it's just a sign that it never rains here anymore. I'll go with early snow. Science and facts get you nowhere.
WxUSAF
Grass is pretty dead. Seeing just the first hints of color in some of the maples.
Scuddz
I've raked the yard twice, and you'd never know it.
MN Transplant
Maple has lost some dried up leaves, but the oaks are fine. Little bit of color on some shorter trees/bushes that I haven't tried to identify. Grass is brown, weeds are green.

ThePhotoGuy
I was out towards Thurmont a couple days ago and everything was green.
Disc
Still pretty green down here in the valley. Not sure about the mountains, though.
EastCoast NPZ
There are some trees (dogwoods and maples) with noticeable color out here and burning bushes are pretty red.
mattie g
I had some seed put down recently, so with a little watering some of the brown grass has greened up a little and forced me to mow. Good thing is that when I mow, I also chop up all the leaves that have fallen consistently on my back yard for the last month or so. Some dogwoods are showing some red, and there are tips of some maples that are yellowing. There's one dogwood around the corner that looks as if it's been transported to November 1 - it's got almost no leaves left. Weird. Maybe it's just dying or something. Avdave
There are some trees (dogwoods and maples) with noticeable color out here and burning bushes are pretty red. Same here some dogwoods and maples are showing a little color, the "weed" maples in parking lots and such have some decent color on the top half of the trees. Burning bushes have a slight tint of red to them but not Bright red. My forsythia, although young, have some maroonish/purple leaves on them as well. Mums in full bloom
Disc
I'm guessing the leaves will peak around Halloween in my neck of the woods.
mappy
I noticed some color on the trees in PA this morning.
Eskimo Joe
Some color on the smaller trees and shrubs. The larger, more established plants are still green.
nj2va
I was out in Virginia wine country yesterday and it was all green out there.
EastCoast NPZ
With the overcast conditions this morning, the colors are very noticeable. Lots of maples now with significant color, and sumac also, of course. This seems pretty early this year (well, probably not for sumac).
jonjon
Real nice color out here above 3000'. Should be close to peak this coming weekend for our Leaf Peepers Festival.
WxUSAF
Most of the maples have at least a hint of color. Saw one random one on Saturday that had completely changed color and already lost half its leaves!
Scuddz
Spent the weekend in Central NY, just starting to change there.
Bob Chill
My dogwood has plenty of brown and rusty red from the lack of rain this summer. It's looks like a very ill version of fall foliage so I suppose it counts.
wxdude64
Trees turning slowly here, I'd say a 20/80 color/green mix right now, if you go high up (3500+) a good bit of color showing now.
NCWX
All my walnut trees are yellow, and dropping. The Mulberry trees are browning and losing leaves. Maples are just starting to change to red or orange. The rest are green.

Disc
Updated every Thursday Capture.JPG Thanks for posting that, Dave. Where did you find it? That's a good graph for my area because I visit several of those spots listed on the graph during the fall.

H2O
I have to rake already. Two of my trees have turned and dropped due to it being dry lately. Got a nice paper wasp nest in one of my trees that I'm taking down this afternoon. I might die.

mattie g
I'd prefer things to stay green for as long as possible. After that, the trees are bare, lawns go dormant, and we get cold rain punctuated by the very occasional snowfall...with no real recovery until late March. Mud, brown trees, dead flowers, and lots of crows flying around. Gotta love it!
