We hiked Old Rag early yesterday and heading over to Duncan's Knob today. We also hit up two vineyards yesterday; Sharp Rocks and DuCards. The leaves seem a little late this year, bu still beautiful. I'm pretty sure Langley is going to lose them. There is only about a half squadron on the NASA side. The AF wants the 22s to take over the mission, which the 22 pilots do not want to do. October started out with some high temps - DCA hit 90 and 91 within the first 6 days, and IAD recorded two 90 degree days. It may hit freezing at one or both of those stations in the next 3-4 days. How rare is it - and when is the last time it happened - for a 90 or 90+ degree high and 32 or below 32 low to occur in the same calendar month?
