J had eye surgery this morning so I get to work in my PJs Pray for a fast arrival of every tooth. Our daughter (now nearly 18 months) is still going. And just wait until the big teeth come in. Oh my. Lots of waking up 3-4 times a night. Fortunately, ours is not a drooler and childrens Tylenol is a wonderful.....if you can get them to swallow it without having to put them into some WWEsque move. mappy Posted October 15, 2013 Share Posted October 15, 2013 The first one was a big pain... I felt like it was weeks before it fully came through and she wasn't bothered by it anymore. The second one came through overnight with little to no fanfare. Now her top teeth are bothering her. I can feel them beneath the gums, which are a little swollen. Thankfully she takes children's motrin pretty well, and ora-gel. We usually only give it to her at bedtime, and so far she seems to be ok with it. But she doesn't want the bottle as much during the day, which is a pain. She is getting plenty to eat in solid foods, but I just worry about dehydrated. Hell, over the weekend I even tried to get her to use a straw to see if it helped! She couldn't quite figure it out haha. Just another day in baby land!
