WxUSAF had plenty of reason to moderate what he did. Just because what you wrote is a quote from a movie doesn't mean it's okay. We have a sports forum for anyone who wishes to have extended discussions about sports, which is what was appearing to happen after several posts with no seeming conclusion in sight. It's not like he went on a crazy power-hungry moderating spree... During the winter this sub-forum competes with New England and NYC for the worst sub-forum, but our non-winter discussion is typically better. I don't think it's the forum as much as the red tags in the region are more likely to be gov etc. yeah we do have some NwS from other places but I get the impression our NWS types are not as open and free talking. We have plenty of expertise inside along with pretty knowledgeable enthusiasts. When the threat gets real we have a steady stream of insight from the other region's heavy hitters. Not saying more mets isn't good but we're really aren't lacking any analysis here. Every single model gets sliced and diced every which way from Sunday by everyone. The banned post was bait which you took hook, line, and sinker. Get it right since you can't seem to let it go, long after I offered to drop the whole thing (which you responded to by creating a whole thread about it and credited me with starting).
