Wow, this is an over performance here in Asheville. Big flakes are falling, although the ground is still too warm. Maybe this will lead to more snow sticking to the ground later in the event?

It's really coming down here. If it keeps it up much longer it will start accumulating pretty quickly, I would imagine.

Not going to post pics due to the storm mode & server issues but we have about .5" on the ground @ the house! Temp is down to 32.7° Checklist as follows:

 

1) Off from work due to school closing +

 

2) Off from work next two days +

 

3) Stocked up on supplies from Ingles (madhouse) +

 

4) Snow in the air & on the ground +

THE UPSTATE FOR -RA. TEMPERATURES UNDER THE RAINFALL MAY REMAIN
NEARLY STEADY IN THE U30S TO MID 40S. A TOUR OF WEB CAMS ACROSS THE
MTNS INDICATES THAT SNOW IS FALLING...BUT ANY ACCUMULATIONS APPEAR
LIMITED TO THE HIGHEST ELEVATIONS.
