jacobr57
So I just got up...is this like the snow before the storm? The RAP doesn't have our heavier returns for another 5 hours and nws doesnt have likely chances until noon.
wncsnow
Still anxiously awaiting the snow the reach the ground here in the lower elevations, glad that Asheville is already seeing that.. shouldn't be long now..
K4CF
If the RAP verifies, the central and southern mtns are gonna get walloped! Just doing the math quickly in my head, looks like up to 6"+ possible before it all ends

Its been on top of things or slightly behind the northern pattern thus far.

hoi_polloi9
Snowing lightly in Biltmore Village and on the Estate with roads partially to totally covered. Once you head south on 25/Hendersonville Rd and get to about I-40 the snow stops. Not snowing at my house yet between Fletcher and Fairview according to my wife. SnoJoe
Must be a sharp cut off beginning mid Yancey Co. Not a flake here but just talked to a friend in Burnsville and he said he had heavy snow there. That's only 10 miles south of me. But all is well. I'll stay on the sidelines for this one. Hope you guys get pounded!!
