SlantStickers Anonymous
it shouldn't affect us at all...one thing is though on-shore flow is bring in some more stable air to the BL into parts of CT which could end things for coastal/SE CT. How do you feel about the conditions in eastern mass? Had pretty much uninterrupted sun the majority of the day here.

Probably very little severe threat there...looks like a quite a bit of CIN at the sfc and in the mixed-layer and timing will just be too unfavorable as the better instability will be gone. Forcing though may keep some embedded convection going but probably nothing overly exciting.

weatherwiz
Who wanted summer to come back anyways? What actually sucks if you think about it is, we still have a long while to go before any meaningful snow chances and tropical season is as dead as the Yankees. This pattern was nothing more than the Summer Mother Nature flicking us her finger before she goes into hibernation and her sister, winter Mother Nature comes out. Hopefully she is much more kind to us this winter. Stupid crap.

ORH_wxman
Could get some nice heavy rainers tonight...severe threat looks weak for SNE though. We were too far SE in this whole setup going back a couple days. Perhaps someone in western areas gets lucky though.

Since the Patriots are on stupid NFL network and I have to go to a bar and watch it what should I do? 1) Go out and watch them or stay home and hope for something good>? Quincy
The line is really looking very meh right now and there isn't a whole lot of time left to capitalize on the instability. The complex across east-central PA *might* make it toward Fairfield County, but I'm skeptical about that. Hi-res NAM has very little precip in eastern CT at all tonight.
