weatherwiz
I wish 0-6km shear values were like 10-15 knots stronger over the area now...they do increase later on but if we had that during this peak heating it could be much more interesting. Also, I hope we erode this MLCin we have...hopefully that doesn't squash things

TalcottWx
SB Cape is nearing 3000 in interior SNE, LI's near -7 which do not match yesterday, but still substantial. ML Lapse rates do decrease as the day continues. However, shear is on the increase as the day rolls on. Cooling temps aloft as the day continues is also a good sign. Plenty high dewpoints still across the entire area. Strong to severe storms are certainly possible. A threat of a tor or two exists north of sne. Today may end up being a stormy day for some. TalcottWx
Storms look strong down towards NYC and heading northeast. Very encouraging as downstream of the storms there is more instability and higher shear #'s.
