I was up there once, That was enough for me, I would get nose bleeds...lol, Plus the players looked like midgets,  I had a pair of seasons back from 2000-2007 and was in the 100 section

I had season tickets a few years back and our seats were literally the last row in the stadium.  It was actually kind of nice because you could stand up and you just had a wall behind you from which you could make out the Boston skyline in good weather.  You're up there, and exposed, that's for sure.  Not really the best place during a storm.

I did not like the swaying feeling when it was windy up there, I was 3 rows from the wall when i went, Stayed 1 half and went down and hung around in the concourse for the second half, It was a pre season game so it was NBD

Here is some lightning I caught tonight just off exit 18 on I-89 in VT (Georgia, VT)

Nice dude!  I gotta get better at taking lightning photos.... A friend of mine took this one in Stowe last night (not my pic) and it pretty much sums up the lightning with these things.  It was just constant spidering straight to the ground every 1-2 seconds.  Strobes and not like distance strobes either.

Aroostook has recently become the tornado capital of NNE.  Of course, as counties go it's by far the biggest target, but the action has mainly been in the northeasterly 25% of its 6,800 sq.mi.

I would be willing to bet that ME is probably the best state in the Northeast for severe weather, it's just nobody lives there

The west half of Aroostook, plus the north ends of Piscataquis and Somerset, represent close to 5,000 sq.mi. with very few residents, other than those along Rt 161 west of Ft.Kent and out to Allagash village.  However, there are logging operations all through most of that area, and this time of year (starting in late July when bait stations can be set up), when hunting bear over bait is permitted, guides and hunters are well distributed throughout the territory, so major tree-damaging events are likely to be quickly discovered.  There are also periodic overflights, sometimes multiple passes per day during high danger, by light aircraft for fire detection.

It would be awesome to have more people up there...some of the cells that track up that way are flat out nasty during the summer.
