HIPPYVALLEY
Severe Warning up here right now (just flashed across TV screen to my surprise) but looking at radar me thinks it looses it's pop as it crosses the E Slope. Looks like might be lifting N also. Maybe get a nice light show out of it?
Christina311
Well, at least there's something going on in the state now. I'm predicting a few severe raindrops in eastern MA, with wind gusts up to 10 mph.

Chrisrotary12
I'm surprised that the warning is issued for Chesire County already. The line is like 20 miles west of there. Plenty of time to fall apart.

All Wet
I'm in Greater Portland--I just stepped out on my street, and could see very impressive lighting off in the distance to my north/northwest. As near as I can tell from weather radar, the storm must be 30 miles away. It makes me wonder just how high the top of the storm must be to be so easily seen... CoastalWx
Well there is that cold pool at the surface we talked about. We'll see how much farther they go as the environment east is a little less favorable.
