OceanStWx
What's amazing is with all this "instability" that there is absolutely nothing happening over even the high summits. Not even small Cu fields or anything. Not a cloud over VT...and only a couple small clouds struggling over the 5,000ft terrain in the Adirondacks. Nothing over the Whites. Things are definitely looking more agitated as that high cloud works east from the lakes. Just working on the cap.

TalcottWx
stuff is starting to pop over PA now. once that comes NE a bit...should really go up. 14z HRRR and the latest NAM look really similar. Package the WRF in with that group too. Unless there is a big surprise SNE is definitely out now
Chinook
The Rapv2 in a "tad" lower but this is incredible Either the SPC RAP analysis is wacked or that's some sort of record CAPE for SE New York. Unfortunately this means the heat indices must be miserable.

CT Rain
Either the SPC RAP analysis is wacked or that's some sort of record CAPE for SE New York. Unfortunately this means the heat indices must be miserable. High theta-e with dew points in the mid 70s under nearly dry adiabatic lapse rates from 750-550mb. That'll do it. I'm driving from CT to Stowe this evening...not excited about seeing much but will be watching radar. May detour if something looks interesting once I get up into VT later this evening. OceanStWx
Central PA getting lit up Child's play. They don't have any shear, just living on the extreme air mass instability. Put one of those updrafts closer to the international border and we'll see somebody getting lit up.
