snywx
8 inch final here. Looks like Warwick,NY stayed all snow possibly just a few miles up the road. Saw a report of 11 inches there. 11" is widespread up here... I think early on many of us thought the NJ/NY border was gonna be the battle ground and it ended up accurate. gravitylover
Holy heavy schitt kids! I walked out just before 6:30 to shovel. Within ten minutes it changed to super huge flakes mixed with sleet and about ten minutes later it was all sleet. Stayed that way until a few minutes ago when it morphed to rain. 3 1/2 hrs *-* I'm beat...

HVSnowLover
On and off sleet/zr mix here, nothing too much though, really blessed that we missed out on the icing up here that those to the south had to deal with.

Juliancolton
A bit off-topic here, but does anybody have an idea of how Albany scrutinizes its spotter reports for snow? I always use the storm report interface... sometimes they publish my report as a "trained spotter", sometimes as "public", and sometimes not at all. I have taken the basic and advanced skywarn classes but I don't think I got a spotter ID or anything like that. Not a huge deal, I just want to make sure I'm not inadvertently compromising data integrity because I missed a step along the lines.
gravitylover
5 hours. After I moved the cars there was a five foot thick three foot high drift waiting for me. 2 hrs to get through that on top of the 3 from this morning. That beer was wonderful... What's with this rain? Someone make it stop!
