snywx
It goes to show you how different both areas truly are. We are rooting for a north trend and 95% of them in the main thread rooting for a south trend lol.

Very true- I noticed that when I made some posts and comments in the thread from the big storm I was pretty much ignored except for maybe one person who commented on one of my pics. It's so comical how grown men can behave over a snowstorm, or lack of LOL Loving snow is almost like a weird porn fetish for some I guess hahaha

It's so comical how grown men can behave over a snowstorm, or lack of LOL Loving snow is almost like a weird porn fetish for some I guess hahaha Its a big reason why we created this thread for us here in the great NW. The terms you see down there like "us" and "we" do not pertain to us. Steady snow falling and wind has picked up. 22f
chietanen
If this fringes the Mid HV and jackpots the metro area, then it will just be another example of the undeniable pattern this winter. At this stage, I really don't care. I feel like we had our storm 2 weeks ago when we all received close to 20+ inches. Whatever will be will be.. Will i get rocks thrown at me if I say that I am now keeping an eye out for rising heights and 850s at the tail-end of the ensembles in search for Spring? I'm tired of dirty snow. Freshen up the snow pack with a few inches and I'll be happy as a camper. It's to the point this year that I am rooting not to get a foot of snow. I'm sorry but the way you said that about 'us' made me chuckle. Just had a snow shower move through that started with a big wind gust. Also 22 here. Pitmaster
Heavy snow flying - dusting already. Near white out with the wind and heavy snow at times - mini blizzard for the win! Lol

Just hope we don't get fringed up here in the burbs.

Juliancolton
The NAM is the revenge solution... if we're gonna get shut out, so is everyone else!
UlsterCountySnowZ
Well thankfully the NAM is ridiculously out of its range.. And has been terrible this year IMO... I would normally say 48hrs with the nam but this year I would be cautious to trust it at 24hrs

Animal
12 GFS was not all that great. Any further south and this one is over. GFS is around 4-8 for most except the far north. Comical watching the 6 Z to 12Z runs of the GFS

I'm sure that I'm in the minority though. <0.25" of liquid on the 12z GFS. Just enough to cover our "baldspots" for a few fleeting moments until the sun comes out. Edit: .18" for KPOU according to Don S., what a joke!
White Gorilla
So, if the 12 Z Euro goes South, I think it's safe to say we can put a fork in this one up here in the mid HV.
