Have not been in Liberty in 6 weeks, back in 2010, Middletown had more snow and roofs collapsing than liberty. Who has more snow depth now do you think before I drive up there, Middletown, Woodbury Common or Liberty? Thnaks!

I went through there this weekend, impressive! Not that the two foot or so pack around here is anything to sneeze at.

I didn't measure in Liberty but have around north central Orange County which is in the 22-25" range. Based strictly on the snowbanks here and what I saw up there Liberty takes the prize. Pitmaster
Lol... Not happening Never say never- at least not for the past several days lol Maybe some forecasters are trying to play catch up for the last few storms- guess you can only want to be caught with your pants down so many times hahaha
chietanen
I'm really surprised by the numbers being thrown out there by people (some saying 10" or more). Very bullish indeed. It does look like my part of Dutchess might fare a littler poorer than east or south of here, but that's not atypical in a setup like this. But 6"+ is a huge stretch. Not one piece of guidance shows that for the area. Even the nam is only 4-5" for the area. I guess time will tell

I guess time will tell Yeah- will probably be a 2-4 type deal. On a side note, after about 4 days of "mild" weather end of this week, it looks like we get chilly again next week with some more potential for the white stuff. chietanen
Shows 8" -6" from S to N over the county at 10-1 ratios Interesting. You seem to like the higher amounts too? These small and short lived suprise events are often the most fun to follow. Upstream radars look pretty impressive at this point.
Pitmaster
Hi res. shows 8" -6" from S to N over the county at 10-1 ratios8 would be awesome- that way when temps warm up for a few days the melting that occurs will get us back to our current snow depth lol

Pitmaster
They just hoisted the WWA for 3-5 for some of our areas. 2-4, 3-5 whatever it is will mark 5 nights of seeing some snowfall. Feb has turned into a blockbuster month with 11 days left.
