Juliancolton
Went for a nice walk outside to see winter in all its glory. 4-6 foot banks with a little over an inch of powder on top, moderate snows, brisk northerly winds. Today's event won't break any records but it sure looks nice riding on the back of its precursor.

UlsterCountySnowZ
Would be funny if we end up with those 4-6" totals the HRRR was printing out earlier today I mentioned this morning that we could see 4-6.. But I was basing my prediction off the GGEM cause I find it always does well with these weakening waves and coastal take overs

Pitmaster
Latest from upton at 5:30- SO EXPECT A RAPID SNOWFALL ACCUM ACROSS THE WARNED AREA...WITH HIGHEST AMOUNTS EAST. IN ADDITION...SEE ENHANCEMENT TO REFLECTIVITY OVER THE REMAINDER OF THE AREA...AND STILL EXPECT TO SEE SNOW REDEVELOP ACROSS MUCH OF THE ADVISORY AREA. WILL MAINTAIN HEADLINES EVEN THOUGH THE RECENT TRENDS WOULD SUGGEST OTHERWISE. HOWEVER...GIVEN STRENGTH OF THIS TROUGH...AND RAPID LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPMENT...FEEL 2 TO 4 INCH AMOUNTS ARE STILL LIKELY FOR A GOOD PORTION OF THE AREA. TIMING OF ALL WINTER HEADLINES REMAINS THE SAME AS ANY SNOW TAPERS OFF LATER THIS EVENING...AND AROUND MIDNIGHT OUT EAST. WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH. STRONGEST WINDS OCCUR THIS EVENING.
