gravitylover
21" when I left at 5:30 and it was still dumping. If it wasn't for two rounds of sleet and 6+ hours of rain... The drive into the city wasn't too bad, only took two hours for the 55 miles. Watch out for the craters though. There are cars scattered all over with flats and broken wheels and suspension parts. IrishRob17
This mornings tip: 1 part rubbing alcohol, 3 parts water, put it in a ziplock in the freezer. It's a homemade ice/ gel pack for cooling off those back muscles or whatever else may hurt
White Gorilla
I am the happiest I have been about snow since I moved here in 2010 from Rochester. Totally have my weenie cup full right now. The snow is deep, really deep.....feet of snow everywhere. Even the awesome winter of 2010-2011 does not beat this because this time, the mid hudson region has some of the highest totals instead of the coastal areas. That just makes me feel like a snow king! I am going to take tons of photos and savor this storm. Will never forget this ever. As a snow weenie, it's hard to get better than this.

IrishRob17
31" snowpack right now! Insane lol.. I'm going to measure around my yard in a bit. I had 18" here and started with about 11-12 on the ground but I don't think my pack is as big as that. There's certainly compaction out there especially after and inch or so of sleet. UlsterCountySnowZ
I guess I shouldn't of snow blow last night during the dry slot that layer of sleet cemented my driveway and made it impossible to snow blow this morning

Juliancolton
Spent four hours clearing my driveway and loved every minute of it, save for when the various machines started spinning out, lol. Beautiful blue skies, breezy winds creating miniature whiteouts, clouds racing overhead, and the sun to warm your face. These past few days validate the entire winter for me.
