snywx
Thats it. As he said before, that precip in PA will tend to weaken east without the Atlantic inflow banging into it once everything is moving ESE 24-30" will be a stretch but I think someone comes in with 20-24"

UlsterCountySnowZ
I've been watching the radar and Western Mass has been getting pounded with heavy echoes for hours now they gotta be piling up the totals
gravitylover
Whatever is in PA has to come thru. It may move more N than E so anyone near the CT border maybe on the outside looking in. Like me. I just got woken up, the neighbors plow guy showed up at 1am and it bang bang with the diesel revving. Looks like it's been raining for quite some time, I know I heard thunder earlier as I was falling asleep too. Theres a serious glaze on everything. Now it's starting to snow. Pitmaster
24-30" will be a stretch but I think someone comes in with 20-24" Honestly - we are closing in on 20 here. Had almost a foot this morning and have about 7 new. And the way it's still going now we can probably get another 3-5 pretty easy. I think 24 is in reach. Juliancolton
I'm throwing in the towel and heading to bed, though I'll have a couple alarms set to check radar periodically. Just under 3" combined sleet and snow for round 2, making this my first 1' storm since October 2011. 25 degrees with gusty northerly winds and moderate falling snow creating the quintessential nor'easter scene. Hope everyone pulls off several more inches tonight.

Pitmaster
Yeah 24" is def possible.. But 30" I think is out of reachAgreed- unless this thing were to keep cranking until 6 or 7 with high rates- 30 would be tough. But every inch counts - isn't that what she said ? West Point, NY
The counterclockwise spin of the band over RT 209 west of POU really wants to try and wrap back around down to Middletown. Just dont know if the flow will let it.

snywx
Looks like Upton shrunk the 24-30" area for the far western portion of the county and dropped totals out toward the eastern part of the county.
