21z SREF's ticked colder and a little wetter for POU.  Now have snow as most likely precip type throughout.

Here's the 4km NAM, most of this falls prior to 10 am, we get dryslotted shortly after.  Looks like an inch of ice in areas.  Ouch.

reports of freezing rain and sleet as far north as Reading, PA may indicate we get the mix earlier in NW NJ.

Exactly as modeled on the last couple runs of the HRRR (just checked the 3z).  You can also see the sleet line sinking south of Reading in the last couple images.

Just checked it out- very cool! Thanks for the link bro!

Should be an interesting storm for us- can we finally jackpot with a storm this winter? Seems like for every one of them it's always something.

Looking at Dual Pol now.. You should go back to all snow down there. The main mix line is around I-80

By far the hardest it has snowed in the last 3-4 yrs.

Approaching 6" now

I don't hear the  sleet any further, but it is near!

Edit. We have sleet falling. 80/20

The mix line is def progressing north but its wavering from time to time. You may flip between sleet & snow but I don't expect you to fully changeover right now. I could be wrong though

We will see. Was hoping to leave for work in around and hour. No signs of the plow truck...

I was going to say this is the most intense snowfall rate I've seen in at least a few years.

Latest HRRR shows that most of Orange, Ulster, and Dutchess stay all snow until we dryslot around 10 am.
