moneypitmike
Harbinger I'll go out of my mind if this is a seaon of scrapers leaving me with cirrus/mood snow. Wife just sent me this from Copper Mountain Co At 9712 feet West Chesterfield?? Another day of 50's. Just started the stove--house is cold. Not much to warm it up these past several days. 58.9/

Tropopause_Fold
will be nice to get a storm. by the same token...it's already being hyped up a bit much. 25 or 30 knot winds are not really all that big of a deal.

A scraper is more exciting than anything else recently. Prob wont be much of anything inland though. Maybe some light rain.

Last year was super warm, it doesn't matter at all. I will say this as today again proved, cold has over performed. Do like that harbinger. powderfreak
It's out of hand with weenies worrying about warmth on early October. Seriously.I've only been in this sub-forum, but haven't seen real worrying. Just the usual push-back and skepticism of warmth that occurs on this forum of snow weenies (myself included, lol). The KEV weenie index switching from positive to negative earlier this month doesn't help, either. The biggest cheerleader for anything warm has now changed oscillation so those even alluding to anything warm can now expect resistance, where 3-4 weeks ago you would've had vocal support. Why am I not allowed to want warm to hot as spring turns into summer and cool to cold as autumn turns to winter? Is that wrong?
