Here we go again...same as last week in my corner of the woods.  PnC on both sides of the border = 36°  ZFP on both sides of the border = Upper 30s with mention of patchy frost yet no frost advisory in northern CT.  It'll probably work out the same too.  At least frost is mentioned on both sides of the border.

Looks like we will see another low-topped squall line scenario possible towards the beginning of next week.  Another deep trough/strong cold front sliding east.  Might actually have a window of opportunity for some decent rains if indeed something develops out in the Atlantic or near FL.  Either way though, there will be a brief window of some pretty decent moisture surging northward out ahead of the trough/front.

I had a dream I saw snow in September

Happened in ORH on 9/30/92. I was outside actually when it happened. Brief heavy shower mixed with larger flakes and almost completely turned over at one point. There was def a lot of graupel in there...prob inefficient ice crystal formation.

But still the only snow on record in ORH in September. That was a frigid airmass. Highs in the 40s with sunshine that day. Really hard to do in September at this latitude.

I think I recall you mentioning it once before

November is most likely first flakes here. Cool dream nonetheless.

Even Kevin lives "near the coast"

Living on or near the coast means you live in a county that has an ocean border, at least as the National Ocean Service defines it. Connecticut's southern four coastal counties account for 63% of the state's population thanks to Fairfield and New Haven Counties, and even if you live at the most northern part of one of those counties you're still only 25-30 miles from water.
