Mosquitos cryin' for there mamas this AM.  Too bad we couldn't drop below freezing for a few hours to kill the buggers.  Temp has been at or below 35F since 4am.  Impressive early Fall cool shot.

I would agree.  I'm most impressed with MVY's 33°- that's as low as Birch Hill Dam in central Mass.

I got down to 35° which was one degree cooler than yesterday.  There was much more frost in-town today than yesterday.  The car thermo was reading 3° cooler along CT Rte 190.  I don't understand how BOX sometimes puts together their advisories.  Last night was a classic example where Hampden Cty had a frost advisory but northern Tolland Cty did not and we were colder than eastern Hampden Cty.  I understand continuity and using political borders but to not have anything just makes me scratch my head again.

Seems some of the lower temps (especially relative to average) are further South than North.

odd morning no frost until I was way south in SE CT, first signs were in Preston CT near Amos Lake, these are on the rooftop at work just taken, the terrace lawn was white when i came in but I was late getting out for a picture.
