It's Always Sunny
32 is the low so far there... #freeze Currently 38 degrees here... I believe that trumps their old daily record of 35F set in 1959.

Baroclinic Zone
Mosquitos cryin' for there mamas this AM. Too bad we couldn't drop below freezing for a few hours to kill the buggers. Temp has been at or below 35F since 4am. Impressive early Fall cool shot.
Baroclinic Zone
Interesting system on the Euro, as currently depicted, for late next week. Looks like a s/w breaks off of the main flow from Canada and phases with energy coming up from the GOM. Brings the system just S of New England. I got down to 35° which was one degree cooler than yesterday. There was much more frost in-town today than yesterday. The car thermo was reading 3° cooler along CT Rte 190. I don't understand how BOX sometimes puts together their advisories. Last night was a classic example where Hampden Cty had a frost advisory but northern Tolland Cty did not and we were colder than eastern Hampden Cty. I understand continuity and using political borders but to not have anything just makes me scratch my head again.
weathafella
Earliest its been this cool in a long time. Moreover, outside of the very hot 1-2 days last week which kind of came out of nowhere, september has been more autumnal than recent years. CapturedNature
HP parked overhead. It's not often you see the coast/islands be among the coldest spots in SNE. MVY's 33° and FOK's (on Long Island) 34° stand out.
