CT Rain
Gabrielle certainly not helping with the fropa tomorrow. Me thinks little rain comes of this locally. I agree - everything probably struggles east of CT River Valley.

radarman
With the heat and dewpoint this could well be the hottest day I can recall here. Davis broke it's all time record heat index, which not coincidentally was set in the climatological peak of the warm season. Tremendously impressive for mid Sept... now if we can just cap it off later lol.
ORH_wxman
most spots holding now...looks like 91-95 (maybe BOS is 96?) Classic setup for NE MA/SE NH bake zone. Winds too backed for the CT Valley to "jackpot" on the heat which is why they are mostly 92-95 there.

moneypitmike
The humidity is really something. For a single day, I'm not minding it too much. But, I could never live down south unless I was in the mountains. 87.6/74 off a high of 89.8.

NorEaster17
Is it coincidence that today September 11 had the 2nd highest temp of the month for BDL? (99° in 1983)And As it stands now at 95° its tied for the 4th warmest for September on record. If the actual high of the day goes to 96° they will be tied for 3rd warmest! moneypitmike
The rides here suck though Yeah, but shorter lines. I knew you'd bite...lol. Every climo record says that's 90. I think I ended up with 3 or 4 for the season?? I'll have to go back and check Can you imagine the work site at 2k? I wonder if the amount of flies on the pony-o's looked like bee hives. Very funny! It seems the air is cooling more quickly now in spite of the high dp's than during the height of summer when it was also humid. Perhaps a result of less time absorbing the heat (shorter days) allowing for less oven-effect? 83.0/
