CoastalWx
I don't think people poo poo'd dews? If anything the EMLs are notorious for dewpoint pooling under cap.
ORH_wxman
I don't think people poo poo'd dews? If anything the EMLs are notorious for dewpoint pooling under cap. Most of our EMLs come with high dews. Another reason they are favorable for severe wx. July1995, May 1998, etc.

Tropopause_Fold
i think today is actually the worst day of the 2013 season...just looking at HI values. a lot of the bad days in july failed to get a HI above 100F in most of SNE

CT Rain
I don't think people poo poo'd dews? If anything the EMLs are notorious for dewpoint pooling under cap. Yeah exactly. Inversion at base of EML prevents dews from mixing out. I have no idea where the "mixing out" or meh dews came from. There has been a lot of atrocious meteorology over the last day or two in some quarters.

weatherwiz
I still think July '95 was the worst combo of heat/humidity I can remember for this area. That was quite brutal. Try fitting like 7 people into a Camero with HI's well over 100F. Better off just sitting in an oven.
