Knowing it won't last makes this tremendously enjoyable. It's not the dog day feel of late July 2011... sun is much weaker now. Deep tropical feel out there with an accompanying buzz on campus.

I actually feel the same way...I enjoy this knowing is basically a one afternoon torch. Enjoy the last feel of summer without thinking there's another month of this stuff behind it.

The dews are real..AWT. Mine is 76

At Noon Dewpoint at Bradley is 75 degrees(highest ever 79) with temp at 88 it feels like close to 100 degrees!!

I still think it is possible that we may see some mixing out...  BOS and FIT both dropped a tick or two as they eclipsed 90F, and suspect these sites and most may find the upper 60s for a time as max heating turns over the BL.

Noticing some cu now over the Tughill P. of NY and W of ALB, indicating that the boundary-pause can be breached despite the EML-related cap.

Having said that ... what difference does it make.  It's f brutal out there whether it is 89/75, or 94/68
