I've wanted to get the +TSSN symbol on my shoulder for years I just haven't had the balls to do it yet lol

you should! get something that has some value to you. some many people get inked with such garbage. i've been trying to think of another symbol i like but i haven't really come up with anything that fits well.

WTF?  All Amherst public schools were closed today because the floors were too slippery from humidiy!

Apparently they had 22 students and teachers fall yesterday.

I heard on the radio that they said the wax they applied over the summer melted.  Maybe Kevin is right and that the heat yesterday was unprecedented - even hotter than those super hot readings we had for highs all July to make it the hottest month ever.

I like the reason though on their Website - "weather related emergency".  Whatever that means....

Here's the quote "the school’s floors were waxed during the summer and Wednesday’s high temperatures melted the wax and made the floors slick." - See more at: http://bostonherald.com/news_opinion/offbeat_news/2013/09/mass_school_district_closed_due_to_slick_floors#sthash.LAlkSMLd.dpuf

Just incredible dp pooling here yesterday

hottest day locally since the dinosaur footprints were still wet.

But more to the point, why cancel today?  Day late and a dollar short it seems.

Lots of blue overhead, clouds to the east still blocking the sun.  WNW wind picking up.

On the "lazy" front, I've got a tree crew coming in today to take down trees that would otherwise be dropping leaves in the pool (more than the ton that will be getting in there anyway) and trying to eek out a little more sunlight.  Feel very lazy about this......

Digging begins next week.  I'm betting on ledge and blasting.
