It's epically stupid to talk details on this run ...but, hey, New Year's day with a hang-over? why the f not -

- As a point of almost dark humor, the 156 hour panel shows that same "v" notch in the QPF layout out that was depicted in the last monster, that seemed to be collectively ignored and/or dismissed as idiosyncrasy in the runs... Well, guess what - while that ignorance was taking place the snow was in the process of pumping hind quarters up here.... Man I hope that is not signaling KY for this deal,. too.

- One thing this job depicts 12 hours later at 168 that the last seemed to fail to do (which, btw, that's what I believe is the cause of the notching on the last event) is the creation of an actual cold conveyor belt QPF ribbon that is fire hosing eastern Mass and SE NH. Perhaps if there is a bend over taking place at 156, maybe it gets made up for in a 168 hour reach around.

How is that for a pornographic model run :lmao:

January 2005 we had this property, but no house yet so I can't recall specifics of storms right here... But I do recall a very significant snow pack when coming here so obviously we did well with some of them. I'm sure we missed that 12/26 event for the most part.

Miller A from Norfolk-Boston on Dec 26, 2004......and 12-26-10.....warm new years 2005.....warm new years 2011.

It's uncanny.....now we have relentless blocking to negate the rather robust Nina= 2004-05.

I'm growing increasingly concerned that my seasonal snow totals are going to bust low.

Ray is on the '05 bandwagon, they all trended better...even from great runs.

Well, I don't think this will only get better from day 7.....I mean, not sure I would want that.....it would be a cat 5. lol

Who knows what will happen, but I certainly wouldn't favor this, yet.

Even if it works out, models will have us sweat btwn now and then.

That's pretty sweet ridging that gets established in the eastern Pacific up into Alaska in the long term. Massive PV genesis over Canada. Sets the stage for a couple dumps of arctic air, and certainly storm potential if there is enough of an initial perturbation in the flow.

I'd be happy with the euro depiction. I'll take a nice 3-6" event at this point.

Well I was obviously joking around...this is so far out still that we might get nothing at all. But I'm feeling good about it for this time range.
