ravensrule
Who was manning the thermometers? Where's Ravens Rule this morning? It took me 3 days to recover from that embarrassment. I just stopped taking Prozac this morning. Good news is it's only 1 game and it was on the road against one of the best teams in football. Look on the bright side the O's are 1 game out of a playoff spot. Thanks for rubbing it in though .
ravensrule
Blessedly quiet around the office where I work, certainly...(Bengals fan here) Lol's, can you refresh my memory and tell me the last time the Bungles won the Super Bowl?.

ravensrule
I seriously doubt they repeat this year, so instead of sounding like me during a rain to snow event, get prepared I have serious doubt's that they even make the playoffs. They have a very tough schedule. I think a victory would be them making the playoffs and winning a game. Winning back to back is almost impossible these days. EastCoast NPZ
End of the line for my grass. Parts are already brown and crunchy; no way it's going to survive this coming heatwave. Adding 30% chances of t-storms to the forecast is almost comical. I wish I could hibernate tomorrow through Friday.

snowfan
90s the next three days are going to be pure hell after today's weather. Fortunately, it looks like we get another touch of fall this coming weekend. More lows in the low 50s/U40s and comfortable highs in the 70s. mattie g
Welp...I guess I'll be watering the new grass seed a lot :| That's been my problem. Some of it's growing, but I'm not about to water my lawn twice a day for 10 days. Not gonna happen. I'll probably throw some more seed down when it looks like we might have a few days of rain and/or clouds so the ground doesn't dry out so quickly. I put mine down on Friday and have been keeping it quite moist. Hoping it can survive the heat with just persistent watering. If not, I suppose I can always lay some more down where it doens't want to grow.

I might just have to put my own out there since I have some bare spots that they didn't seed heavily enough.
mattie g
I really am liking that temperature map. House windows open. As long as sub-45 stays away from me for at least a few more weeks, I'll be happy. I still want more tomatoes and peppers...

Subtropics
Looking forward to this upcoming stretch. Would love to see us hit 100 mark. If it is going to be upper 90's, it may as well hit 100 for record sake.
MN Transplant
Euro is also in the 40s, at least for most of the region. IAD GFS MOS is 50. Records are upper 30s there, and mid-40s at DCA.
