EastCoast NPZ
Maybe the lack of tropical systems in the Atlantic and moisture in the east will be balanced out by multiple KUs come Dec - Feb.
H2O
yeah.. but at this pt we should prob expect that. i'm kinda hoping the tropics stay quiet.. got some good trolling material lined up. We could be directly hit from a Cat 3 and still not get 1"+ QPF

snowfan
If we get one area wide 6 inch snowfall this year, I'll be happy. Back to the current weather....glorious outside and it looks like it's here to stay for the time being.

mattie g
Maybe the lack of tropical systems in the Atlantic and moisture in the east will be balanced out by multiple KUs come Dec - Feb. But if we get a tropical system to phase with a nor'easter that gets sucked back into the coast, it could set the stage for a winter of atmospheric memory the likes of which we've never seen before. MN Transplant
Par for the course this summer, everyone freaking out about how nice it is, and we are going to put up an almost even departure. Those three years really kicked our asses, didn't they?

Those three years really kicked our asses, didn't they? Some people (like me) just prefer the sensible weather of lower 80s, mostly sunny and low dewpoints Doesn't matter what the departure is, that's a good day right there. We're in that time of year where averages are pretty nice especially with the typically more consistent dry air intrusions. No real need to jump straight into upper 60s or low 70s yet. snowfan
Is that what that was? WTOP says the green light in the sky was seen from DC to Connecticut. No idea what it was. Frost/Freeze warnings popping up all over the place in NNE/NPA for tonight. Tomorrow looks to be amazing. Northern burbs might struggle to get out of the 60s during the day. Definite 40s for lows each of the next two nights.
