snowlover2
Some nice storms approaching that should also limit high temps to the mid 80s most likely. Speaking of storms, SPC added a slight risk area to northern IL.
Brewers
Up to 87 right now, too bad these storms couldn't have held off for a couple more hours.
Geos
I'm just west of Kenosha and skies are getting dark to the north quickly. Need the rain whenever we can get it! Probably 85°…will do it for today.
cyclone77
I'm just west of Kenosha and skies are getting dark to the north quickly. Need the rain whenever we can get it! Probably 85°…will do it for today. Looking like those storms should dive south along the western edge of the lake shore and eventually impact northeast IL. Looking good for you guys. Not as confident on storms back this way, but SPC thinks there's a shot, so we'll see. Still sitting under thick mid-level clouds atm. Temps are stagnating in the mid 80s. wisconsinwx
Some pretty good outflow gusts ahead of the heavy rain and thunder/lightning. Had to be in the 35-40mph range.

Chitown Storm
Doesn't look like its going to happen with this complex. Hopefully we see some cells fire up in a few hours. hopping to see some unzippage to the southwest
Geos
Sweet, a good part of the line heading straight towards me. Thundering pretty good now. The air show at UGN will have to knock it off really soon.
cyclone77
Just broke the 90 degree threshold. Stubborn mid-level clouds finally got out of here an hour or so ago. Looking upstream I'm not noticing any new cu development yet, but it's still a bit early. Will be interesting to see how things evolve this afternoon and eve. Geos
Thanks guys. It's quite dark here; like 7pm kind of dark. Just starting to rain now with crackling thunder. Looks like winds turn off the lake in back of this line. Probably will spend the rest of the day around 80° and humid.
magoos0728
Power gone in Kenoshas south side. Amazing lightning within the last 30 min.
Geos
Power gone in Kenoshas south side. Amazing lightning within the last 30 min. Glad I got my errands done before now. Trying to navigate intersections in the driving rain can be tricky. Now the big drops are starting. Heavy rain didn't last more than 10 minutes. Look like this line is heading over the lake now. Down to 73°.

I can imagine, perhaps Tuesday can give more of Western Wisconsin some much needed rain, along with parts of the Mississippi Valley/Plains states that sorely need it.
