SACRUS
Should see some breaks of sun in the next hour or so. Perhaps some longer breaks in the mid/ate afternoon offering some more late highs. A bit of a back and forth pattern looks to be unfolding the first week to 10 days of Sep before warmer pattern by the middles of the month. easternsnowman
If we do get to a warmer pattern by mid month it won't be a torch pattern so it will not be summer like warmth.

Euripides
So I finally get a rare Thunderstorm this summer and it is at 3am in the morning with a close strike waking us all up. Vivid light show but not much else in the way of thunder after that.

bkviking
Disgustingly swamp like here on Long Island (PJ). Seems I will remember this summer for being wet and most humid in memory. The summer season ends as it began--wet and disappointing, though Memorial Day was cold. I remember posting a comparison shot of PJ v some Air Force base in Greenland and how we were colder than them. On 5/25 or so. Anyway, hope Sep dries out
