AvantHiatus
I have been looking into the Saharan Air Layer trends as a valid reason for the lack of significant tropical cyclones and delayed genesis in recent years. Does anyone have any new information on the studies regarding global warming and reduced hurricane activity? It appears that larger deserts and subtropical highs would create more dry air at all levels of the atmosphere, leading to TC disruption.
