moneypitmike
On another note..are you supposed to use heat treatment or cold for hamstring pulls? I felt mine pop during my run this morning. I actually had to stop and walk for 1/2 mile..then ran again..but it's def not right alternate.
Damage In Tolland
alternate. Not good with NYC marathon less than 11 weeks away. It seems like a tweak,,but it was painful when it happened. At least i could run again afterwards..I'll take tomorrow off and get back after it Sunday
TalcottWx
Don't run until Monday. Ice at first, then warm up as you approach the day you want to run again. Ice after running for the first time again. Warm before until you feel healthy again. Pulled hammy can be like a month and can turn your entire upper leg black and blue if you arnt careful

TalcottWx
Ugh..hopefully not that bad. First time I've done thisThe fact you can run soon after is a good sign. A good pull and you would have been likely calling for a ride home. You probably strained it, wake up sore and tight tomorrow.

Just rest it as best you can. Patient: "Doc, it hurts when I do this..." Doctor: "Then don't do that!"

Ginx snewx
Euro ens want zero part of the heat wave, probably end up like we have with a warmer but not hot compromise. Pretty classic weather though for the most part, enjoy the last vestiges.

Ginx snewx
Go ahead explain to me again how the Boston ASOS siting is a good one. Boston is at average for the month, every single station on the East Coast from Richmond north is below, an island of bad readings.

Ginx snewx
Though LGA and EWR are just as "poorly" sited. Its a real question? does it sit that close to the water that the evaporating water warms it?
ORH_wxman
BOS is fairly legit...but you just have to remember what it represents. It doesn't represent interior SNE or even metro west...it can be similar, but there's many times its not because its sitting out in Boston Harbor. We've seen the flip side where BOS comes in at -0.4 for the month while everyone else is +1 because there was enough onshore flow to skew BOS. In terms of long term temps, BOS is actually muted by the harbor. Their high temps in the decade of the 2000s were actually cooler from the 1990s. The only SNE first order station that did that.
