OT but it irks me when folks paste in forecasts as if no one can use the Internet.

Well almost everything copied and pasted in here can be found pretty easily on the internet. Might as well not post anything found on the PSU Ewall or NCEP or any AFD's for that matter.

Yes but NWS forecasts are sort of common knowledge. If you say my zones have nothing higher than 70s it's fine.

I guess I just sort of put them in the same class as posting AFD's or posting Winter Storm Warnings or every single Severe Weather Warning that the NWS issues.  I mean everyone can find those things.

Lol he posts the forecast for Stowe where no one lives , and says that's the norm there.

C'mon now... that's the Lamoille County zone forecast.  That impacts a whopping 24,701 people!

Tolland has 13,146 people (one with a shaved head on top of a mountain) and gets its fair share of discussion ;)

So much for the definite statement just two days ago that no one would see highs in the 70's until late Sept that was posted here.

We might even see several days in a row with highs in the 70s.  Maybe even a rogue low in the 40s in the normally colder spots.

Tomorrow looks like the best shot at 90 in the normal hot spots.  Will we see 90?

Well, my streak ended at day 28.  Got to 80.0 today.  I can't believe I"m going to need to wait 4 more weeks to get a high in the 70's.  What a torch this summer's been.  Car was reading 80* as I got into Lexington, VA.  Really nice town.  Progged 76* tomorrow in Blacksburg tomorrow.  Even though we're in the low-lands at 2200', I could get used to it down here.  I suppose I'd do reasonably well snow wise if I could get a spot higher up.

68.1/58 at the Pit.

There's many higher ridges down there.  I know of a couple of maple syrup producers above 4,000'.  I don't know how they do for snow retention but I've been there in March and not seen snow, even in the higher elevations.  I'm thinking that they see snow and even bouts of cold but I think it's moderated.

That being said, I don't know anyone who doesn't think that the Blue Ridge isn't some of the most scenic places on the eastern seaboard.

Looks like a tough day on tap back at the Pit with mid-80's being forecast.  We've had some good busts on temps of late, so perhaps we can avoid some of that warmth.  Either way, it looks like yesterday's 80.0, today, and tomorrow's low 80's will be our three days of above-normal before a return to AOB normal 70's.

Rough times in NE.

60.5/57 at the Pit; 64 in Blacksburg
