Mrs.J
Yuck humidity is back. On another note sure have noticed a lot more fuzzy caterpillars around for this time of year. Of all sizes and colors and they are having a feast on my flower beds. Being out this early does it mean something...

MN Transplant
Record highs in Minneapolis the last two days. In the past couple of years that would have rolled right over and baked us. This year - shunted south. Good stuff.

wxdude64
MonthPNormNRCC.png Maybe its just a precipitation hole altogether, instead of the 'snow hole' everybody fusses about in winter around DC?

Ellinwood
Jeeze, DT sure is honking hard about tomorrow...too bad he always hangs his hat on the 4km NAM composite image. Not only composite, but max intensity and where the red colors start at 43 DBZ. The only way I'll be excited about this setup is when I'm under a SVR and there's a big ol' storm rolling up to my doorstep. Shear's not as bad as most of the storm days we've seen this summer, but it's still far from great.
WxUSAF
Should be an easy 90 today. DCA was already 85 last hour, 84 at BWI.
MN Transplant
The NAM/GFS/Euro all bring down a vort from Lake Superior, but this morning's NAM really adds in a surface reflection. It is interesting.
EastCoast NPZ
Wow, I was under 60 when I left for work early this am. Hard to believe you in mid 70's?!? That's a remarkable difference. The low was 69, but it was 72 by the time I left the house. Felt like mid-July. Disgusting.

MN Transplant
Obviously, we'd take it, but the "low spot" in the line is pretty comical compared to the month-to-date precip image I posted yesterday.
